In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;

The Israelites continued their travels. Whenever the cloud lifted from above the holy tent, they started out.

Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out.

Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it.

The Israelites set out whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle throughout all the stages of their journey.

Throughout their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out;

Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys.

And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys:

The Israelites set out whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle throughout all the stages of their journey.

And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

你還是有豐富的憐憫，不把他們丟棄在曠野。白晝，雲柱不離開他們，仍引導他們行路；黑夜，火柱仍照亮他們當行的路。

雲彩幾時從帳幕上升，以色列人就幾時起行；雲彩在哪裏停住，以色列人就在哪裏安營。

他鋪張雲彩當遮蔽，夜間使火光照。

以色列人離開耶和華的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和華的約櫃在前面行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安歇的地方。他們拔營往前行，日間有耶和華的雲彩在他們上面。約櫃往前行的時候，摩西說：「耶和華啊，求你興起！願你的仇敵潰散！願恨你的人從你面前逃跑！」約櫃停住的時候，他說：「以色列千萬人的耶和華啊，求你回來！」

耶和華走在他們前面，日間用雲柱引領他們的路，夜間用火柱照亮他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。日間的雲柱，夜間的火柱，總不離開百姓的面前。

他白日用雲彩，終夜用火光引導他們。

第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法櫃的帳幕上升。以色列人離開西奈的曠野，一段一段地往前行，雲彩停在巴蘭的曠野。他們遵照耶和華藉摩西所指示的，初次往前行。

這就是：神在基督裏使世人與自己和好，不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上，並且將這和好的信息託付了我們。所以，我們作基督的特使，就好像神藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們，與神和好吧！

要為這不潔淨的人拿一些燒好的除罪灰放在器皿裏，倒上清水。一個潔淨的人要拿牛膝草蘸在這水中，把水彈在帳棚上，和一切器皿以及帳棚內的人身上，又要彈在那摸了骨頭，或摸了被殺的或自然死的，或摸了墳墓的人身上。那潔淨的人要在第三天和第七天把水彈在不潔淨的人身上，在第七天潔淨那人。那人要洗衣服，用水洗澡，到晚上就潔淨了。但任何不潔淨的人，他若不潔淨自己，那人要從會中剪除，因為他玷污了耶和華的聖所，除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他是不潔淨的。這要成為你們永遠的定例。此外，那彈除污穢水的人也要洗衣服。凡碰除污穢水的，必不潔淨到晚上。不潔淨的人所摸的任何東西都不潔淨；摸了這東西的人必不潔淨到晚上。」

弟兄們，我不願意你們不知道，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，
