Then Moses set up the courtyard around the holy tent and altar. He put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses completed the work.

The south side shall be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen,with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.The north side shall also be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.“ The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases.On the east end, toward the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide.Curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases,and curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on the other side, with three posts and three bases.“ For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain twenty cubits long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen— the work of an embroiderer— with four posts and four bases.

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.

“ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built upuntil we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are— yet he did not sin.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked,“ You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.

So he built the temple and completed it, roofing it with beams and cedar planks.

Jesus answered,“ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

“ My food,” said Jesus,“ is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house.Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.“ Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future.

Instead, appoint the Levites to be in charge of the tabernacle of the covenant law— over all its furnishings and everything belonging to it. They are to carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they are to take care of it and encamp around it.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
