He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

以我所將賜爾之律法、藏於匱內、以精金作贖罪蓋、贖罪蓋或作施恩所下同長二尺半、廣一尺半、以金作二基路伯、用鏇法作之、置於贖罪蓋之兩旁、此旁作一基路伯、彼旁作一基路伯、當於贖罪蓋之兩旁作基路伯、基路伯高展其翼、以覆贖罪蓋、其面向贖罪蓋、彼此相對、以贖罪蓋置於匱上、匱中藏我所將賜爾之律法、

以精金作贖罪蓋、長二尺半、廣一尺半、以金作二基路伯、以鏇法作之、置於贖罪蓋之兩旁、此旁作一基路伯、彼旁作一基路伯、於贖罪蓋之兩旁作基路伯、基路伯高展其翼、以覆贖罪蓋、其面向贖罪蓋、彼此相對、○

我天主歟、我樂遵主之旨意、主之律法、存在我心、

兄弟乎、我儕既賴耶穌之血、得毅然以入聖所、乃由彼為我儕所開永生之新路、自幔而過者、此幔即其肉體、

天主在西乃山諭摩西畢、賜之二法板、即石板、其上之字、乃天主親手天主親手原文作天主之指所書者、

以法匱置於其內、以幔掩法匱、
