He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

我所賜爾之法、宜藏於匱、以精金作施恩座、長二肘有半、廣一肘有半、以金用鏇法作基路伯二、置施恩座之兩端、每端各一、與施恩座相連、基路伯高展其翮、以覆施恩座、其面向之、彼此相對、置施恩座於匱上、我所賜爾之法、藏於匱中、

我上帝歟、爾旨我樂遵、爾律在我心兮、

兄弟乎、我儕既賴耶穌之血、毅然而入聖所、由彼為我儕所闢新且生之路、經乎幔、即其形軀也、且既有大祭司宰上帝家、

耶和華於西乃山諭摩西畢、錫以法版二、即上帝手書之石版、
