He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

約櫃裏惟有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及地後，耶和華與他們立約的時候摩西在何烈山所放的。除此以外，並無別物。

所以，我們只管坦然無懼地來到施恩的寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠，作隨時的幫助。

有金香爐，有包金的約櫃，櫃裏有盛嗎哪的金罐和亞倫發過芽的杖，並兩塊約版；

神設立耶穌作挽回祭，是憑着耶穌的血，藉着人的信，要顯明神的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先時所犯的罪，

律法的總結就是基督，使凡信他的都得着義。

必將我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。要用精金做施恩座，長二肘半，寬一肘半。要用金子錘出兩個基路伯來，安在施恩座的兩頭。這頭做一個基路伯，那頭做一個基路伯，二基路伯要接連一塊，在施恩座的兩頭。二基路伯要高張翅膀，遮掩施恩座。基路伯要臉對臉，朝着施恩座。要將施恩座安在櫃的上邊，又將我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。

用精金做施恩座，長二肘半，寬一肘半。用金子錘出兩個基路伯來，安在施恩座的兩頭，這頭做一個基路伯，那頭做一個基路伯，二基路伯接連一塊，在施恩座的兩頭。二基路伯高張翅膀，遮掩施恩座；基路伯是臉對臉，朝着施恩座。

我的神啊，我樂意照你的旨意行；你的律法在我心裏。

弟兄們，我們既因耶穌的血得以坦然進入至聖所，是藉着他給我們開了一條又新又活的路，從幔子經過，這幔子就是他的身體。又有一位大祭司治理神的家，

耶和華在西奈山和摩西說完了話，就把兩塊法版交給他，是神用指頭寫的石版。

把法櫃安放在裏面，用幔子將櫃遮掩。
