耶和華的靈必住在他身上，使他有聰明和智慧、謀略和能力，能認識並敬畏耶和華。

我們所需要的，正是這樣一位聖潔無瑕、良善純全、遠離罪惡、超越諸天的大祭司。

天使回答說：「聖靈要臨到你身上，至高者的能力要蔭庇你，所以你要生的那聖嬰必稱為上帝的兒子。

上帝使無罪的基督擔當我們的罪，使我們可以藉著基督成為被上帝接納的義人。

上帝所差來的，說的是上帝的話，因為上帝將聖靈無限量地賜給祂。
