那时，他们才信他的话，歌唱赞美他。很快地，他们就忘了他的作为，不仰望他的指引，

上帝看顾以色列人，上帝是知道的。

那些在磐石上的，就是人听道，欢喜领受，但没有根，不过暂时相信，等到碰上试炼就退后了。

你去召集以色列的长老，对他们说：‘耶和华—你们祖宗的上帝，就是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝向我显现，说：我实在眷顾了你们，眷顾你们在埃及的遭遇。

倘若他们不信你，也不听第一个神迹的声音，他们会信第二个神迹的声音。倘若他们不信这两个神迹，不听你的话，你就从尼罗河里取些水，倒在干的地上。你从尼罗河里所取的水必在干地上变成血。”

耶和华说：“我确实看见了我百姓在埃及所受的困苦，我也听见了他们因受监工苦待所发的哀声；我确实知道他们的痛苦。

“主—以色列的上帝是应当称颂的！因他眷顾他的百姓，为他们施行救赎，

亚伯兰脸伏于地；上帝又对他说：

约沙法屈身，脸伏于地，犹大众人和耶路撒冷的居民也俯伏在耶和华面前，敬拜耶和华。
