爾往集以色列長老、而告之曰、耶和華爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、顯見於我、曰、我臨涖爾、鑒爾於埃及所遇者、

曰、如彼不聽、不信前之異蹟、必信後之異蹟、若不信此二者、不從爾言、則取河水傾於陸地、其水必變為血、○

耶和華曰、吾民在埃及之艱辛、我見之矣、因受督役者之酷暴而哀號、我聞之矣、彼之愁苦、我知之矣、

可頌哉、主以色列之上帝、垂顧其民而贖之也、

亞伯蘭遂俯伏焉、上帝與之言曰、
