The Lord said to Moses,“ When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,“ When you return to Egypt, do all the amazing things I have given you the power to do. Do them in the sight of Pharaoh. But I will make him stubborn. He will not let the people go.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.

And the Lord told Moses,“ When you arrive back in Egypt, go to Pharaoh and perform all the miracles I have empowered you to do. But I will harden his heart so he will refuse to let the people go.

The LORD instructed Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he won’t let the people go.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ When you go back into Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.

由此看来，上帝要怜悯谁就怜悯谁，要使谁刚硬就使谁刚硬。

耶和华啊，你为何使我们偏离你的道，使我们心里刚硬、不敬畏你呢？求你为你的仆人，为你产业的支派而回转。

因此，我必伸出我的手，在埃及施行我一切的神迹，击打这地，然后，他才放你们走。

“主使他们瞎了眼，使他们硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，他们心里明白，回转过来，我会医治他们。”

法老心里刚硬，不听摩西和亚伦，正如耶和华所说的。

法老的心刚硬，不放以色列人走，正如耶和华藉着摩西所说的。耶和华对摩西说：“你要到法老那里，因我使他硬着心，也使他臣仆硬着心，为要在他们中间显出我的这些神迹来，

耶和华任凭埃及王法老的心刚硬，他就追赶以色列人；以色列人却抬起头来出去了。

我要使法老的心固执，我也要在埃及地多行神迹奇事。

但耶和华任凭法老的心刚硬，不放以色列人走。

他们既然故意不认识上帝，上帝就任凭他们存扭曲的心，做那些不该做的事，

要使这百姓心蒙油脂，耳朵发沉，眼睛昏花；恐怕他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，就得医治。”

耶和华问他：‘用什么方法呢？’他说：‘我要出去，在他众先知的口中成为谎言的灵。’耶和华说：‘这样，你去引诱他，必能成功。你出去，照样做吧！’

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石。”他们绊跌，因为不顺从这道，这也是预定的。

对灭亡的人，这是死而又死的气味；对得救的人，这是生而又生的气味。这些事谁能当得起呢？

并且在那沉沦的人身上行各样不义的诡诈，因为他们不领受爱真理的心，好让他们得救。故此，上帝就给他们一个引发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，使一切不信真理、倒喜爱不义的人都被定罪。

从亚嫩谷旁的亚罗珥和谷中的城，直到基列，没有一座城是高得我们不能攻取的；耶和华—我们的上帝把它们全都交给我们了。

如经上所记：“上帝给他们昏沉的灵，眼睛看不见，耳朵听不到，直到今日。”大卫也说：“愿他们的宴席变为罗网，变为陷阱，变为绊脚石，作他们的报应。愿他们的眼睛昏花，看不见；愿你时常弯下他们的腰。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”

他使敌人的心转去恨他的百姓，用诡计待他的仆人。

但希实本王西宏不肯让我们从他那里经过，因为耶和华—你的上帝使他性情顽梗，内心刚硬，为要把他交在你手中，像今日一样。耶和华对我说：‘看，我已开始把西宏和他的地交给你了，你要开始得他的地为业。’“西宏和他的众百姓出来迎击我们，在雅杂与我们交战。耶和华—我们的上帝把他交给我们，我们就杀了他和他的众儿子，以及他所有的百姓。

我要任凭法老的心刚硬，他要追赶他们。我必在法老和他全军身上得荣耀，埃及人就知道我是耶和华。”于是以色列人照样做了。
