The Lord said to Moses,“ When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,“ When you return to Egypt, do all the amazing things I have given you the power to do. Do them in the sight of Pharaoh. But I will make him stubborn. He will not let the people go.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.

And the Lord told Moses,“ When you arrive back in Egypt, go to Pharaoh and perform all the miracles I have empowered you to do. But I will harden his heart so he will refuse to let the people go.

The LORD instructed Moses,“ When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he won’t let the people go.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ When you go back into Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.

Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. (niv)

Why, Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance. (niv)

So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go. (niv)

“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn— and I would heal them.” (niv)

Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said. (niv)

For it was the Lord himself who hardened their hearts to wage war against Israel, so that he might destroy them totally, exterminating them without mercy, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (niv)

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said to Moses. (niv)

So Pharaoh’s heart was hard and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the Lord had said through Moses.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these signs of mine among them (niv)

The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly. (niv)

But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in Egypt, (niv)

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go. (niv)

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (niv)

Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (niv)

“‘ By what means?’ the Lord asked.“‘ I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said.“‘ You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord.‘ Go and do it.’ (niv)

and,“ A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message— which is also what they were destined for. (niv)

To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? (niv)

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lieand so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (niv)

From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead, not one town was too strong for us. The Lord our God gave us all of them. (niv)

as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”And David says:“ May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them.May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.” (niv)

Then the Lord said,“ My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” (niv)

whose hearts he turned to hate his people, to conspire against his servants. (niv)

But Sihon king of Heshbon refused to let us pass through. For the Lord your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as he has now done.The Lord said to me,“ See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land.”When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz,the Lord our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army. (niv)

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So the Israelites did this. (niv)
