Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.

Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did.

And so at last the Tabernacle was finished. The Israelites had done everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And look that thou make[ them] after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation[ shall be] the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which[ is] by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,[ even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,[ that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

This[ shall be] the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation,[ about] the most holy things:And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over[ it] a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put[ it] upon a bar.And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put[ them] in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put[ them] on a bar:And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it,[ even] the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear[ it]: but they shall not touch[ any] holy thing, lest they die. These[ things are] the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest[ pertaineth] the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil,[ and] the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein[ is], in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.This[ is] the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that[ is] above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which[ is] by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.This[ is] the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge[ shall be] under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.And this[ is] the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.

When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses[ was faithful] in all his house.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.And Moses said unto the congregation, This[ is] the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound[ it] unto him therewith.And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre,[ even] upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD[ as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey[ is] better than sacrifice,[ and] to hearken than the fat of rams.

And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,

And[ under] the custody and charge of the sons of Merari[ shall be] the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

And their charge[ shall be] the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.

All[ this, said David], the LORD made me understand in writing by[ his] hand upon me,[ even] all the works of this pattern.

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These[ are] the words which the LORD hath commanded, that[ ye] should do them.Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This[ is] the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever[ is] of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair],And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,The ark, and the staves thereof,[ with] the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,The cloths of service, to do service in the holy[ place], the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing,[ and] they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted,[ and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[ offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD.And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair], and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought[ them].Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought[ it].And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun,[ both] of blue, and of purple,[ and] of scarlet, and of fine linen.And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’[ hair].And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,And in the cutting of stones, to set[ them], and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.And he hath put in his heart that he may teach,[ both] he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver,[ even] of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.And this[ is] the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair],And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.According to all that I shew thee,[ after] the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make[ it].And they shall make an ark[ of] shittim wood: two cubits and a half[ shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put[ them] in the four corners thereof; and two rings[ shall be] in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.And thou shalt make staves[ of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.And thou shalt make a mercy seat[ of] pure gold: two cubits and a half[ shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.And thou shalt make two cherubims[ of] gold,[ of] beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end:[ even] of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.And the cherubims shall stretch forth[ their] wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces[ shall look] one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which[ are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all[ things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.Thou shalt also make a table[ of] shittim wood: two cubits[ shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that[ are] on the four feet thereof.Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.And thou shalt make the staves[ of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal:[ of] pure gold shalt thou make them.And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.And thou shalt make a candlestick[ of] pure gold:[ of] beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
