我为我上帝的殿已经尽力，预备金子做金器，银子做银器，铜做铜器，铁做铁器，木做木器，还有红玛瑙、可镶嵌的宝石、彩石、各样的宝石和许多大理石。此外，因我爱慕我上帝的殿，在预备建造圣殿的一切材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献给我上帝的殿，就是三千他连得俄斐金子、七千他连得纯银，用来贴殿的墙；金子做金器，银子做银器，并藉工匠的手做一切的工。今日有谁愿意将自己献给耶和华呢？”于是，众族长和以色列各支派的领袖、千夫长、百夫长，以及监管王工作的官长，都乐意奉献。他们为上帝殿的工程献上五千他连得又一万达利克金子，一万他连得银子，一万八千他连得铜，十万他连得铁。

凡甘心乐意的，连男带女都来了，各将金器，就是胸针、耳环、打印的戒指，和项链带来，摇着金器的摇祭献给耶和华。

银子是我的，金子也是我的。这是万军之耶和华说的。

“若有人在耶和华的圣物上无意中犯了罪，有了过犯，就要献羊群中一只没有残疾的公绵羊给耶和华为赎愆祭，或依圣所的舍客勒所估定的银子，作为赎愆祭。

把它们都放在亚伦的手和他儿子的手上，在耶和华面前摇一摇，作为摇祭。

你所估的是：二十岁到六十岁男的，按照圣所的舍客勒，估价是五十舍客勒银子。

看哪，我辛苦地为耶和华的殿预备了十万他连得金子，一百万他连得银子，铜和铁多得无法可秤；我也预备了木头、石头，你还可以增添。你有许多工匠，就是石匠、木匠，和一切能做各样工的巧匠，以及无数的金银铜铁。你当起来做工，愿耶和华与你同在。”
