“要用纯金造一个灯台，灯台的灯座、灯柱、油杯、花瓣和花苞要用一块纯金打造。灯台的两边要各伸出三个分枝，共六个分枝。每个分枝要伸出三个杏花形状、有花瓣和花苞的杯，六个分枝都是这样。灯台上要有四个杏花形状、有花瓣和花苞的杯。灯台上每一对分枝的相连处要有花苞，三对都是这样。整座灯台，包括一切装饰，都要用一块纯金打造。此外，要为灯台造七个灯盏，放在灯台上面，照亮前面的地方。灯台用的灯剪和灯花盘都要用纯金造。造整座灯台和灯台的器具要用三十四公斤纯金。

建成后的圣幕共分两间，外面的一间称为圣所，摆设了灯台、桌子和圣饼。

祂里面有生命，这生命是人类的光。光照进黑暗里，黑暗不能胜过光。有一个人名叫约翰，是上帝差来的。他来是要为光做见证，叫世人可以借着他而相信。约翰不是那光，他来是为那光做见证。那照亮世人的真光来到了世上。

金灯台和金灯的分量，银灯台和银灯的分量——按每座灯台的用途酌定金银的分量，

他们每天早晚向耶和华献燔祭，烧芬芳的香，把供饼摆在洁净的桌子上，每晚点上金灯台的灯。我们遵守我们上帝耶和华的吩咐，你们却背弃祂。

我又问天使：“灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”

亚伦要常常照看这些放在纯金灯台上的灯。

好使你们在这个弯曲败坏的时代中无可指责、诚实无伪，做上帝纯洁无瑕的儿女，如同明光照耀在世上，

他把灯台放在会幕内的桌子对面，在圣幕的南侧，然后在耶和华面前点灯，都遵照耶和华的吩咐。

他问我：“你看见了什么？”我说：“我看见一个纯金的灯台，上面有一个油碗，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏灯有七个灯芯。

人点亮了灯，不会把它放在斗底下，而是放在灯台上，好照亮全家。

我转身看究竟是谁在对我说话，我看见七个金灯台，有一位好像人子耶稣的站在这些灯台中间。祂长袍垂脚，金带围胸，头与发白如羊毛、洁白如雪，眼睛像火焰，双脚像炉中冶炼过的铜一样光亮，声音如同洪涛之声。祂右手拿着七颗星，口中吐出一把两刃的利剑，面貌如烈日放光。我一看见祂，便扑倒在祂脚前，像死了一样。祂把右手按在我身上，说：“不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，我是永活者。我曾经死过，但看啊，我永永远远活着。我掌握死亡和阴间的钥匙。所以，你要将所看见的一切——现在和将来要发生的事都记录下来。你所看见在我右手中的七颗星和七个金灯台的奥秘是，七颗星代表七间教会的天使，七个灯台代表七间教会。“你要写信告诉以弗所教会的天使，那位右手拿着七颗星、往来于七个金灯台中间的主说，‘我知道你的行为、劳碌和坚忍，也知道你疾恶如仇，曾查验出那些假冒的使徒，揭穿他们的虚假。你曾坚定不移地为我的名受苦，没有气馁。但有一件事我要责备你，就是你把起初的爱心丢弃了。因此，要回想你在哪里跌倒了，并且悔改，照起初所行的去行。否则，我就要到你那里，将你的灯台从原处拿走。
