我們眾人、或猶太人、或希利尼人、或為奴的、或自主的、都在這獨一的靈受洗、歸於獨一的身體；也都得恩賜來吸飲這獨一的靈。

但我們總要以愛心持守真理，各方面長大、直到長成了基督：基督就是元首。本着他，全身藉着所供應的各關節、照每一部分、依其分量、所運用的效力、互相聯接，彼此結聯，使身體漸漸長大，在愛中建立自己。

耶路撒冷被重建做聯結為一的城；

弟兄們，我憑着我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們要說一致的話，不要有分裂之爭在你們中間，只要用一致的心思一致的意見、大家聯結。

並且同心合意，天天恆心專務於殿裏的敬拜，又在家中擘餅，存歡樂坦樸之心分享食物，

看哪，弟兄們一團和氣地同住着，何等的美善，何等的可喜悅啊！

靠着他、各部建築都互相聯接，漸漸高大，成為在主裏的聖殿堂。

他已經援救我們脫離這麼大的死亡，將來還要援救；我們一向所寄望的他、將來還要援救。

便很有力量能和眾聖徒一同領會基督的愛是何等的長、闊、高、深，能認識那遠超過人知識的愛，使你們得充滿，完完全全地得到上帝之豐滿。
