But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

Yahweh is a jealous God and avenges. Yahweh avenges and is full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies.Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him.

I prayed to Yahweh my God, and made confession, and said,“ Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,

for our God is a consuming fire.

and said,“ I beg you, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments:

Joshua said to the people,“ You can’t serve Yahweh, for he is a holy God. He is a jealous God. He will not forgive your disobedience nor your sins.

Yahweh examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence.On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. Their doom rushes at them.”

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

What if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don’t provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him.

Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.

Then his lord called him in, and said to him,‘ You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”

If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for his loving kindness endures forever:

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,so that men shall say,“ Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

He said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”

Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God.

But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights?

When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?”

Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.

God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.

to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever;

Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins,

“ For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
