不可把肉留到早晨，留到早晨的肉要烧掉。

你们要把旧酵除掉，好成为真正无酵的新面团，因为我们逾越节的羔羊——基督已经被献为祭了。所以，我们不可带着歹毒邪恶的旧酵守这逾越节，而要用真诚纯洁的无酵饼。

若有授圣职时的肉或饼留到早上，就要烧掉，不可再吃，因为这些都是圣物。

无论你们住在哪里都要吃无酵饼，不能吃有酵的食物。”

吃祭牲的时候，不可吃有酵的饼，七天之内要吃无酵饼，即忆苦饼，以便你们一生谨记离开埃及的日子，因为当时你们离开得很仓促。

至于祭牲的肉，要在献祭的当天吃完，不可留到次日早晨。

当晚，你们要用火把羊肉烤熟，与无酵饼和苦菜一起吃。

食物不可留到天明，也不可折断羊羔的一根骨头。要遵守逾越节的一切律例。
