扫罗对仆人说：“如果我们去，有什么可以送给那人呢？因为我们袋里的食物都已经用尽了，也没有礼物可以送给那神人，我们还有什么呢？”仆人回答扫罗：“看哪！我手里有三克银子，可以送给那神人，请他告诉我们应该走的路。”

有血肉生命头生的，无论是人或是牲畜，就是他们献给耶和华的，都必归给你；只是人类头生的，你总要赎出来；不洁净牲畜头生的，也要赎出来。

所以，你要年年按着定期遵守这定例。

“你要拣选利未人代替以色列人所有头生的，也要拣选利未人的牲畜代替以色列人的牲畜；利未人要归我，我是耶和华。至于那超过利未人总数的二百七十三个，需要赎回的以色列人的长子，你要每人收取赎银五十七克，要按照人数，根据圣所的秤收取，就是按照圣所的标准重量（“就是按照圣所的标准重量”原文作“一舍客勒是二十季拉”）。你要把那超额人数的赎银，交给亚伦和他的儿子。”于是，摩西就从那些被利未人赎回以外的人收取赎银；从头生的以色列人收取的银子，根据圣所的秤，共有约十五公斤。摩西照着耶和华的吩咐，把这赎银交给了亚伦和他的儿子，正如耶和华吩咐摩西的。

王回答亚劳拿：“不！我一定要按价钱向你买，我不要用白白得来的作燔祭献给耶和华我的神。”于是大卫用五百七十克银子，买下了那打禾场和牛。
