你不可与那地的居民立约，因为他们随从自己的神明行淫；祭他们神明的时候，有人邀请你参加，你就会吃他的祭物。

爾若與其地之居民立約、恐彼妄從其神、祭祀其神、招爾食其祭物、

然而，他们却不听从士师，竟随从别神而行淫，向它们叩拜。他们列祖所行的道，所听从耶和华的命令，他们都速速偏离了，并不照样遵行。

耶和华对摩西说：“看哪，你必和你的祖先同睡。这百姓要起来，在他们所要去的地上，在那地的人中，随从外邦的神明行淫，离弃我，违背我与他们所立的约。

这些女子请百姓一同为她们的神明献祭，百姓吃了祭物，跪拜她们的神明。

关于吃祭过偶像的食物，我们知道“偶像在世上算不得什么”；也知道“神只有一位，没有别的”。

他们又与巴力‧毗珥连合，吃了祭死人的物。

倘若有一个不信的人请你们吃饭，而你们也愿意去，凡摆在你们面前的，只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么。

若有人见你这有知识的在偶像的庙里坐席，而这人的良心是软弱的，他岂不放胆去吃那祭过偶像的食物吗？

他们不可再宰杀祭牲献给他们行淫所随从的山羊鬼魔。这要作他们世世代代永远的定例。

你要谨慎，不可与你所要去那地的居民立约，免得他们成为你中间的圈套。

可是，不是人人都有这知识。有人到现在因拜惯了偶像，仍以为所吃的是祭过偶像的食物；既然他们的良心软弱，也就污秽了。

因以色列轻忽了她的淫乱，与石头和木头行奸淫，她和这地就都污秽了。

我就要向这人和他的家人变脸，把他和所有跟随他与摩洛行淫的人都从百姓中剪除。“人若转向招魂的和行巫术的，随从他们行淫，我就要向这人变脸，把他从百姓中剪除。

你们要佩带这䍁子，好叫你们看见它就记起耶和华一切的命令，并且遵行，不随从自己内心和眼目的情欲而跟着行淫。

不，我是说，他们所献的祭是祭鬼，不是祭神；我不愿意你们与鬼来往。你们不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能吃主的筵席，又吃鬼的筵席。

耶和华说：“看哪，我要立约，要在你众百姓面前行奇妙的事，是在全地万国中未曾做过的。你周围的万民要看见我藉着你所行，耶和华可畏惧的作为。

拿着七个碗的七位天使中，有一位前来对我说：“来，我要让你看那坐在众水之上的大淫妇所要受的惩罚；地上的君王都曾与她行淫，住在地上的人也喝醉了她淫乱的酒。”我在圣灵感动下，被天使带到旷野去，我看见一个女人骑在朱红色的兽上；那只兽有七个头十个角，遍体有亵渎的名号。那女人穿着紫色和朱红色的衣服，用金子、宝石、珍珠作妆饰，手拿着金杯，杯中盛满了可憎之物和她淫乱的污秽。在她额上写着奥秘的名字，说：“大巴比伦，世上的淫妇和一切可憎之物的母。”

看哪，远离你的，必要死亡；凡离弃你行淫的，你都灭绝了。

我的百姓求问木偶，以为木杖能指示他们；淫乱的心使他们失迷，以致行淫离弃他们的神，

他们向天上的神献燔祭所需用的公牛犊、公绵羊、小绵羊，以及麦子、盐、酒、油，都要照耶路撒冷祭司的话，每日供给他们，不得有误；

然而，有一件事我要责备你，就是你容忍那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别教唆我的仆人，引诱他们犯淫乱，吃祭过偶像之物。

不可跟他们和他们的神明立约。

以色列啊，不要欢喜，像万民一样快乐；因为你行淫离弃你的神，喜爱各禾场上卖淫所得的赏金。

当耶和华—你的神把他们交给你，你击杀他们的时候，你要完全消灭他们，不可与他们立约，也不可怜惜他们。
