勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其神而獻祭、招爾共食祭品、

只怕你与那地的居民立约，百姓随从他们的神，就行邪淫，祭祀他们的神，有人叫你，你便吃他的祭物，

你不可与那地的居民立约，因为他们随从自己的神明行淫；祭他们神明的时候，有人邀请你参加，你就会吃他的祭物。

“ Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices.

乃民不聽士師、狥欲而從他神、向之跪拜、速違厥祖所行之道、不效其從耶和華之命、

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾與列祖偕眠、斯民必於所至之地、狥欲從異族之神、離棄我、背我與立之約、

蓋其女請民至、同祭其神、民遂食其祭品、共拜其神、

夫食祭像之物、我知在世之像為虛、上帝乃獨一無他、

民亦契於巴力毘珥、食祭死物之品兮、

有不信者宴爾、而爾欲往、凡所陳者食之、毋為良心而詢也、

或見爾有知識者、席坐偶像之廟、彼良心尚弱、豈不果於食祭像之物乎、

勿復狥欲、祭牡山羊狀之鬼神、著為永例、歷世弗替、○

爾其慎之、所往之地、勿與其居民立約、恐為爾之坎阱、

然人不皆有此知識、至今有習於偶像者、而食若為祭物然、其良心尚弱、故見浼焉、

彼輕其淫亂、污衊斯土、狥欲於木石、

我必怒之、與其眷屬、及凡狥欲從摩洛者、絕之民中、凡狥欲從巫覡術士者、我必怒之、絕於民中、

爾觀其繸、可憶耶和華誡、而遵行之、不致隨爾心目、狥欲如故、

乃謂異邦所祭者祭鬼耳、非上帝也、我不欲爾與於鬼也、爾不能飲主杯、兼飲鬼杯、不能與主席、兼與鬼席、

曰、我今立約、將行異蹟於爾民前、天下萬民之中、未嘗行之、四周之居民、必見耶和華所為、蓋我向爾所行、乃可畏也、

執七盂者七使之一就我曰、來、我以坐於眾水大妓之鞫示爾、世上諸王與之行淫、宅地之人、由其淫亂之酒而醉、我感於聖神被攜適野、見一婦乘絳獸、七首十角、遍有謗讟之名、婦衣紫絳、飾以金玉珠璣、手執金杯、滿貯穢惡、即其淫污也、額書厥名曰奧秘、大巴比倫、地上諸妓諸穢惡之母、

遠爾者必死亡、狥欲逆爾者、爾殄滅之兮、

我民諮詢於木、藉杖示之、彼為淫心所迷、狥欲離其上帝之制、

彼所需牡犢、牡綿羊、綿羊羔、為燔祭、奉於天上上帝、以及麥鹽酒油、俱依耶路撒冷祭司所言、日給不絕、

然我有所責爾者、以爾容自稱先知之婦耶洗別、彼誨我諸僕、誘之行淫、且食祭像之物、

毋與其人其神立約、

以色列歟、毋欣喜歡樂如列邦、蓋爾狥欲而離上帝、在各禾場、好人投贈、

爾上帝耶和華既付於爾、為爾所擊、必殲滅之、勿與立約、勿加矜恤、
