Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

我們若照耶和華－我們上帝所吩咐的，在他面前謹守遵行這一切誡命，這就是我們的義了。』」「耶和華－你的上帝領你進入你要得為業之地，從你面前趕出許多國家，就是比你更強大的七個國家：赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人。

在那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔這一片地，從埃及河直到大河，幼發拉底河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。」

我也曾說：要把你們從埃及的困苦中領出來，往迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶與蜜之地。』

「耶和華－你的上帝將他們從你面前趕出以後，你心裏不可說：『耶和華領我得這地是因我的義。』其實，耶和華將這些國家從你面前趕出去是因他們的惡。你能進去得他們的地，並不是因你的義，也不是因你心裏正直，而是因這些國家的惡，耶和華－你的上帝才把他們從你面前趕出去，為了應驗耶和華向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許的話。」

我下來是要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們從那地上來，到美好與寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地。

以色列啊，你要聽，要謹守遵行，使你可以在那流奶與蜜之地得福，人數極其增多，正如耶和華－你列祖的上帝所應許你的。

所以，你們要照耶和華－你們上帝所吩咐的謹守遵行，不可偏離左右。

你要謹守聽從我所吩咐的一切話，好讓你和你的子孫可以永遠得福，因為你行耶和華－你上帝眼中看為善、看為正的事。」

有了我的命令而又遵守的人，就是愛我的；愛我的人，我父要愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。」

凡我所吩咐你們的，都教導他們遵守。看哪，我天天與你們同在，直到世代的終結。」

凡我所吩咐你們的事，你們都要謹守遵行，不可加添，也不可刪減。」

「現在，以色列啊，聽我所教導你們的律例典章，要遵行，好使你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之上帝所賜給你們的地，承受為業。我吩咐你們的話，你們不可加添，也不可刪減，好叫你們遵守耶和華－你們上帝的命令，就是我所吩咐你們的。

我今日吩咐你的律例誡命，你要遵守，使你和你的後裔可以得福，並使你的日子一直在耶和華－你上帝賜你的地上得以長久。」

你親眼見過的大考驗、神蹟、奇事、大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，都是耶和華－你上帝領你出來所施行的。耶和華－你的上帝也必照樣處置你所懼怕的各民族，

「你若留心聽從耶和華－你上帝的話，謹守遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎地上的萬國之上。
