Observe what I command you today. I am going to drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hethites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

Righteousness will be ours if we are careful to follow every one of these commands before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.’“ When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, and he drives out many nations before you— the Hethites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you—

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ I give this land to your offspring, from the Brook of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River:the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,Hethites, Perizzites, Rephaim,Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.”

And I have promised you that I will bring you up from the misery of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites— a land flowing with milk and honey.

When the LORD your God drives them out before you, do not say to yourself,‘ The LORD brought me in to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.’ Instead, the LORD will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness.You are not going to take possession of their land because of your righteousness or your integrity. Instead, the LORD your God will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness, in order to fulfill the promise he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow them, so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.

“ Be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you are not to turn aside to the right or the left.

Be careful to obey all these things I command you, so that you and your children after you may prosper forever, because you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.

The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.”

teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Be careful to do everything I command you; do not add anything to it or take anything away from it.

“ Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live, enter, and take possession of the land the LORD, the God of your ancestors, is giving you.You must not add anything to what I command you or take anything away from it, so that you may keep the commands of the LORD your God I am giving you.

Keep his statutes and commands, which I am giving you today, so that you and your children after you may prosper and so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”

the great trials that you saw, the signs and wonders, the strong hand and outstretched arm, by which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you fear.

“ Now if you faithfully obey the LORD your God and are careful to follow all his commands I am giving you today, the LORD your God will put you far above all the nations of the earth.
