日間，耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路；夜間，在火柱中光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。日間雲柱，夜間火柱，總不離開百姓的面前。

神和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。

耶和華與摩西面對面說話，好像人與朋友說話一般。摩西轉到營裏去，惟有他的幫手－一個少年人嫩的兒子約書亞不離開會幕。

我要在那裏與你相會，又要從法櫃施恩座上二基路伯中間，和你說我所要吩咐你傳給以色列人的一切事。」

說：「主啊，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在我們中間同行，因為這是硬着頸項的百姓。又求你赦免我們的罪孽和罪惡，以我們為你的產業。」

我要在那裏降臨，與你說話，也要把降於你身上的靈分賜他們，他們就和你同當這管百姓的重任，免得你獨自擔當。

耶和華的靈在那裏降在我身上。他對我說：「你起來往平原去，我要在那裏和你說話。」
