耶和華在他們前面行，日間用雲柱領他們的路，夜間用火柱光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。日間雲柱，夜間火柱，都不離開眾民的面前。

神和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。

耶和華與摩西面對面說話，好像人對朋友說話一樣。然後，摩西回到營裡去，只有他的侍從，一個少年人，就是嫩的兒子約書亞，不離開會幕。

我要在那裡和你相會，也要從施恩座上面，從二基路伯之間，告訴你一切我命令你傳給以色列人的事。

說：“主啊，我若是在你眼前蒙恩，求我主與我們同行，因為這是硬著頸項的人民。又求你赦免我們的罪孽和我們的罪惡，把我們當作你的產業。”

我要在那裡降臨，與你說話，也要把在你身上的靈，分給他們，他們就與你一同擔當管理人民的責任，免得你獨自擔當。

耶和華的手在那裡臨到我身上，他對我說：“你起來，出到平原去，在那裡我要向你說話。”
