When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced,“ Tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord.”

耶羅波安私設節期於八月之望、效猶大節期、上祭壇獻祭、在伯特利亦如斯行、祭所作之犢、又在伯特利為所築之邱壇立祭司、耶羅波安在私意所定之月、即八月、是月之望、為以色列人定為節期、上伯特利所築之壇、獻祭焚香、

書云、當傳令禁食、使拿伯坐於民間高位、

爾曹當記憶此日、定為節期、於主前謹守、歷代守之、永為定例、

摩西曰、我老少子女、以及牛羊、皆挈之同往、蓋我儕在主前、有當守之節期、

是日必宣告聖會、無論何工、悉毋作、於爾所居之各處、為歷代永定之例、

遂定命普告以色列、自別是巴至但、使至耶路撒冷、於主以色列之天主前守逾越節、蓋至此民循所錄之例、守逾越節者不甚多也、或作因民久未遵所綠之例守逾越節

以色列忘造之之主、自建殿宇、猶大多築鞏固之城、我將焚其城邑、燬其宮殿、

亞哈斯王自大瑪色旋歸之先、祭司烏利雅建祭臺、循亞哈斯王自大瑪色所寄之圖而建、
