And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Jehovah; peradventure I shall make atonement for your sin.

或者神转意后悔，不发烈怒，使我们不致灭亡，也未可知。”

亚伦照着摩西所说的拿来，跑到会中，不料，瘟疫在百姓中已经发作了。他就加上香，为百姓赎罪。

如此，这二少年人的罪在耶和华面前甚重了，因为他们藐视耶和华的祭物。

摩西回到耶和华那里，说：“唉！这百姓犯了大罪，为自己做了金像。倘或你肯赦免他们的罪......不然，求你从你所写的册上涂抹我的名。”

用温柔劝戒那抵挡的人；或者神给他们悔改的心，可以明白真道，

所以我告诉你，她许多的罪都赦免了，因为她的爱多；但那赦免少的，他的爱就少。”
