Then Moses asked Aaron,“ What did these people do to you that you have led them into such a grave sin?”

摩西對亞倫說：「這百姓向你做了甚麼？你竟使他們陷在大罪裏！」

摩西對亞倫說：「這百姓向你做了甚麼呢？你竟使他們陷入大罪中！」

摩西對亞倫說：「這百姓向你做了甚麼呢？你竟使他們陷入大罪中！」

摩西對亞倫說：「這些百姓對你做了什麼？你竟使他們陷入大罪中！」

摩西對亞倫說：“這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷在大罪裡呢？”

摩西對亞倫說：『這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷於大罪呀？』

謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、使陷重罪、

謂亞倫曰、斯民何負於爾、使陷重罪。

摩西謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、竟使之陷於重罪、

He said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you led them into such great sin?”

He said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you? How did they make you lead them into such terrible sin?”

And Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded,“ What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?”

Then Moses asked Aaron,“ What did these people do to you that you have led them into such a grave sin?”

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you, that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

And Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you that you have brought so great a sin upon them?”

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought a great sin upon them?

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”

Moses said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you have brought a great sin on them?”

Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said to him,“ What have you done to us? How did I sin against you that you have brought such enormous guilt on me and on my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.”

He will give up Israel because of Jeroboam’s sins that he committed and caused Israel to commit.”

Then Abimelech said,“ What is this you’ve done to us? One of the people could easily have slept with your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us.”

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and make a confession to Him. I urge you, tell me what you have done. Don’t hide anything from me.”Achan replied to Joshua,“ It is true. I have sinned against the Lord, the God of Israel. This is what I did:When I saw among the spoils a beautiful cloak from Babylon, 200 silver shekels, and a bar of gold weighing 50 shekels, I coveted them and took them. You can see for yourself. They are concealed in the ground inside my tent, with the money under the cloak.”So Joshua sent messengers who ran to the tent, and there was the cloak, concealed in his tent, with the money underneath.They took the things from inside the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites, and spread them out in the Lord’s presence.Then Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the cloak, and the bar of gold, his sons and daughters, his ox, donkey, and sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and brought them up to the Valley of Achor.Joshua said,“ Why have you troubled us? Today the Lord will trouble you!” So all Israel stoned them to death. They burned their bodies, threw stones on them,and raised over him a large pile of rocks that remains to this day. Then the Lord turned from His burning anger. Therefore that place is called the Valley of Achor to this day.

“ If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying,‘ Let us go and worship other gods’— which neither you nor your fathers have known,any of the gods of the peoples around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other—you must not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity, and do not spare him or shield him.

I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have provoked My anger and caused Israel to sin.

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the Lord, for today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

But they did not listen; Manasseh caused them to stray so that they did greater evil than the nations the Lord had destroyed before the Israelites.The Lord spoke through His servants the prophets, saying,“ Since Manasseh king of Judah has committed all these detestable things— greater evil than the Amorites who preceded him had done— and by means of his idols has also caused Judah to sin,
