When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

As Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf. He also saw the people dancing. So he was very angry. He threw the tablets out of his hands. They broke into pieces at the foot of the mountain.

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing, and he burned with anger. He threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain.

我見爾獲罪於主爾之天主、為己鑄犢像、速離主所命爾之道、我將二板擲之由手中、碎於爾目前、

不遵此律法諸言而行者、必受咒詛、眾民當應曰、阿們、

我之第二杖、稱維繫者、我遂折之、以示猶大與以色列兄弟之和好將廢、

非若昔與其祖所立之約、在我援手導彼出伊及地之時、我雖為其主、彼仍違背此約、或作昔我援手導其列祖出伊及之時與彼立約我雖為其主彼仍爽我約今所立之約必不若是此乃主所言、

摩西在其天主耶和華前、懇求曰、斯民乃主之民、主昔以大能大力、導之出伊及、今何怒之甚烈乎、

怒則勿犯罪、勿含怒至日沒時、

耶穌見之不悅、謂門徒曰、容孩提就我、勿禁之、蓋有天主國者、正如是人也、

大衛衣細麻以弗得、極力舞蹈於主前、

惟我告爾、無故而怒兄弟者、當被審判、詈兄弟為鄙夫者、當解於公堂、詈兄弟為愚妄者、當擲於磯很拿磯很拿即生前作惡者死後受刑處有譯地獄下同之火、

我心不復欣喜、昔則踴躍、今則悲哀、

耶穌怒目環視、憂眾之心頑、語其人曰、伸爾手、遂伸之、手即愈、如他手、

時亞倫姊、女先知米利暗手執鼓、眾女亦皆執鼓相從、舞蹈而出、

我杖稱恩寵者、我遂折之、以示我與列民所立之約將廢、當日則廢矣、困苦之羊、仰望我者、咸知此乃主之言、

摩西素甚謙和、勝於世間萬人、

亞倫由其手受之、以鑄犢、以鑿修之成形、民彼此云、以色列人歟、此即導爾出伊及之神、亞倫見之、遂建祭臺於其前、亞倫又宣告曰、明日乃耶和華之節筵、或作明日乃節期崇事耶和華明日、民夙興、獻火焚祭與平安祭、坐而飲食、起而嬉戲、○
