眾術士就對法老說：“這是神的手指頭。”法老卻心裡剛硬，不肯聽摩西和亞倫，就像耶和華所說的。

摩西在那裡與耶和華在一起共四十晝夜，不吃飯，也不喝水。他把這約的話寫在兩塊版上，這就是十誡。摩西從西奈山下來的時候，手裡拿著兩塊法版；摩西從山上下來的時候，不知道自己的臉皮因為與耶和華談過話而發光。

我若靠神的靈趕鬼，神的國就已經臨到你們了。

如果那以文字刻在石上使人死的律法的工作，尚且帶有榮光，以致以色列人因著摩西臉上短暫的榮光，不能注視他的臉，那出於聖靈的工作不是更有榮光嗎？

我若靠神的能力趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。

“但那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約是這樣（這是耶和華的宣告）：我要把我的律法放在他們裡面，寫在他們的心裡。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

摩西進入雲彩中，上到山上去；摩西在山上四十晝夜。

耶和華對摩西說：“你要鑿出兩塊石版，好像先前的一樣，我要把先前寫在你摔碎了的石版上的字寫在這兩塊石版上。早晨之前，你要預備好了；到早晨的時候，你要上到西奈山來，在山頂上站在我面前。誰也不准同你一起上來，整個山都不准有人出現，也不准牛羊在這山前吃草。”摩西就鑿了兩塊石版，好像先前的一樣。他一早起來，照著耶和華吩咐他的，上到西奈山去，手裡拿著兩塊石版。

那時，我上了山，要領受石版，就是耶和華與你們立約的石版；那時我在山上住了四十晝夜，不吃不喝。耶和華把那兩塊石版交給了我，是神用手指寫的；石版上所寫的，是耶和華在大會之日，在山上從火中對你們所說的一切話。過了四十晝夜，耶和華把那兩塊石版，就是約版，交給了我。
