巫师们对法老说：“这是上帝的作为。”法老的心却仍然刚硬，不肯答应摩西和亚伦的要求，正如耶和华所言。

摩西在耶和华那里待了四十昼夜，没吃也没喝。耶和华把约的内容，就是十条诫命，写在石版上。摩西手里拿着两块约版下西奈山，他不知道自己因为曾与耶和华说话而脸上发光。

若我是靠上帝的灵赶鬼，就是上帝的国已降临在你们中间了。

这最终带来死亡、刻在石版上的律法条文的事工尚且有荣耀，甚至使摩西的脸上发出荣光，尽管很快就消逝了，以色列人仍然无法定睛看他，那么圣灵的事工岂不更有荣耀吗？

但若我是靠上帝的能力赶鬼，就是上帝的国已降临在你们中间了。

耶和华说：“那些日子以后，我将与以色列家立这样的约，我要把我的律法放在他们脑中，写在他们心上。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。

摩西上到山上，走进云中，在那里停留了四十昼夜。

耶和华对摩西说：“你要凿出两块石版，跟你之前摔碎的两块一样，我要把前两块石版上的字刻在上面。你要预备好，明天清早你要上西奈山顶来见我。谁也不可与你同来，整座山上都不可有人，就是牛羊也不得在山前吃草。”于是，摩西凿出两块石版，跟先前的两块一样。他清早起来，照着耶和华的吩咐把石版带到西奈山上。

那时，我上山去接受耶和华与你们立约的石版，在山上待了四十昼夜，不吃也不喝。耶和华把两块立约的石版交给我，上面刻着那天你们聚会时祂在山上的火焰中对你们说的话，是祂用手指刻上去的。四十昼夜后，耶和华把那两块刻着约的石版交给我，
