故當守安息日以為聖日、凡凟之者殺無赦、操作於是日者、必絕之民中。

“‘ Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.

以色列族居野時遇人於安息日採薪、遂攜之至摩西亞倫、及會眾前、若何處置、猶未定擬、故囚於獄。耶和華諭摩西曰、其人必殺毋赦、會眾必於營外、擊之以石。遂攜出營外、以石擊之、遵耶和華諭摩西之命。○

亦立我安息日、於我及彼之間為徵、俾知我乃耶和華、使之成聖。然以色列族在曠野、違逆乎我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、浸假有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼藐視之、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

安息日為聖日、爾使眾知所持守、又命爾僕摩西、以禁令、禮儀、律例、訓迪之、

有訟事、必當鞫問、遵我法度、在大會中必守我禮儀、法度、以我安息日為聖日、

當以安息日為聖日、永誌勿忘。

遵從斯道、固守弗失、守安息日而弗凟、束手而不作惡、則有福祉。異邦之人歸誠於我者、勿曰、耶和華不以我為赤子、閹者亦勿曰、我若枯木、凡受閹之人、守予安息日、從予所悅懌、不爽盟約、我之宅第、必賜彼居處、其名不朽、較子女眾多者為多福。

恪守安息日、以為聖日、遵耶和華爾上帝之命、六日間宜操作、越至七日、則耶和華爾上帝之安息日也、是日爾與子女僕婢牛驢牲畜、及遠人主於爾家者、皆勿操作、使爾僕婢安息、與爾無異。當憶疇昔、爾在埃及、為人服役、爾之上帝耶和華以大能巨力、救爾出彼、諭爾恪守安息日焉。

彼藐視我法度、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、心崇偶像。

安息日我之聖日、如爾以是日為可喜可尊、奉事乎我、不務操作、不耽宴樂、不任己意、不言虛誕、以我為悅、我必升爾於崇邱、享爾祖雅各之業、我耶和華已言之矣。
