按聖所的秤計算，從登記的人口所收到的銀子是三點四二噸。這是所有登記的、年齡在二十歲以上的人所繳納的銀子，共有六十萬三千五百五十人，每人交六克銀子，以聖所的秤為準。鑄造聖所帶凹槽的底座和帷幔柱子帶凹槽的底座共用了三點四噸銀子，共鑄造了一百個底座，每個底座用了三十四公斤銀子。剩下的二十公斤銀子用來製造柱子上的鉤子和橫杆以及包柱頂。百姓奉獻的銅共有二點四噸，用來製造會幕入口帶凹槽的底座、祭壇、壇上的銅網及一切器具、院子周圍和院子入口帶凹槽的底座以及聖幕、院子周圍所有的橛子。

我們為自己定下律例，每人每年捐獻四克銀子，供我們上帝的殿使用，以支付供餅、日常獻的素祭和燔祭，安息日、朔日和其他節期所獻的聖物，為以色列人獻上的贖罪祭，以及我們上帝殿中的各項費用。

你們要記住這一天，守為耶和華的節期，作為世世代代永遠的定例。

接著，祂拿起餅來，祝謝後，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我為你們犧牲的身體，你們今後也要這樣做，以紀念我。」
