So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

So I have come down to save them from the Egyptians. I will bring them up out of that land. I will bring them into a good land. It has a lot of room. It is a land that has plenty of milk and honey. The Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites live there.

and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

In that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

They took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us, and brought us word again, and said,“ It is a good land which Yahweh our God gives to us.”

It shall be, when Yahweh brings you into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.

that I may establish the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is today.” Then answered I, and said,“ Amen, Yahweh.”

in that day I swore to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.

For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills;a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;a land in which you shall eat bread without scarcity, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.

Therefore tell the children of Israel,‘ I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.I will take you to myself for a people. I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”

They told him, and said,“ We came to the land where you sent us. Surely it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.

He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.

That same day, Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

and that you may prolong your days in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,a land which Yahweh your God cares for. Yahweh your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my commandments which I command you today, to love Yahweh your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,that I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn away to serve other gods and worship them;and Yahweh’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky so that there is no rain, and the land doesn’t yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh gives you.Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates;that your days and your children’s days may be multiplied in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you— to do them, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him—then Yahweh will drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even to the western sea shall be your border.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”

Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.You also multiplied their children as the stars of the sky, and brought them into the land concerning which you said to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.“ So the children went in and possessed the land, and you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they pleased.They took fortified cities and a rich land, and possessed houses full of all good things, cisterns dug out, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate, were filled, became fat, and delighted themselves in your great goodness.

Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them.They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.

Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.Go to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, for you are a stiff- necked people, lest I consume you on the way.”

and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, Yahweh, have given me.” You shall set it down before Yahweh your God, and worship before Yahweh your God.You shall rejoice in all the good which Yahweh your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the foreigner who is among you.When you have finished tithing all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your gates and be filled.You shall say before Yahweh your God,“ I have put away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandment which you have commanded me. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, neither have I forgotten them.I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor given of it for the dead. I have listened to Yahweh my God’s voice. I have done according to all that you have commanded me.Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”

You shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have passed over, that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you.

If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.“ If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.If you take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.“ You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.“ You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses.“ You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.You shall do likewise with your cattle and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days, then on the eighth day you shall give it to me.“ You shall be holy men to me, therefore you shall not eat any meat that is torn by animals in the field. You shall cast it to the dogs.

and what the land is that they dwell in, whether it is good or bad; and what cities they are that they dwell in, whether in camps, or in strongholds;

Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.

They spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying,“ The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land.If Yahweh delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us: a land which flows with milk and honey.

When Yahweh your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, and casts out many nations before you— the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite— seven nations greater and mightier than you;

“ Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh;“ I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”

Turn, and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the places near there: in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the lowland, in the South, by the seashore, in the land of the Canaanites, and in Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.

I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve. Afterward they will come out with great wealth;

Yahweh said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him,“ Now, lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward,for I will give all the land which you see to you and to your offspring forever.

found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words; for you are righteous.

Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.

Observe that which I command you today. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

Come, let’s go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence.

I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.Yahweh also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.He sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yes, great lightning bolts, and routed them.Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, Yahweh, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Yahweh was my support.He brought me out also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
