“ The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders must go to the king of Egypt. You must say to him,‘ The Lord has met with us. He is the God of the Hebrews. Let us take a journey that lasts about three days. We want to go into the desert to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God.’

And they will listen to your voice, and you and the elders of Israel shall go to the king of Egypt and say to him,‘ The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us; and now, please let us go a three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’

“ The elders of Israel will accept your message. Then you and the elders must go to the king of Egypt and tell him,‘ The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. So please let us take a three day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord, our God.’

They will listen to what you say. Then you, along with the elders of Israel, must go to the king of Egypt and say to him: The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go on a three-day trip into the wilderness so that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

Then they will pay attention to what you say; and you with the elders of Israel will come to the king of Egypt, and you will say to him,‘ The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. So now, please let us go a three days’ journey into the wilderness, so that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’

And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, hath met with us: and now let us go, we pray thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Jehovah our God.

They will listen to what you say. Then you, along with the elders of Israel, must go to the king of Egypt and say to him: Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go on a three-day trip into the wilderness so that we may sacrifice to Yahweh our God.

And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

“ The elders will listen to you, and then you and the elders of Israel must go to the king of Egypt and tell him,‘ The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. So now, let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, so that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.’

They will listen to your voice. You shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him,‘ Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.’

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go in to Pharaoh and tell him,‘ Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews:“ Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

And you shall say to him,‘ The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying,“ Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear!

Just as we heeded Moses in all things, so we will heed you. Only the Lord your God be with you, as He was with Moses.

Then Pharaoh called to Moses and said,“ Go, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be kept back. Let your little ones also go with you.”But Moses said,“ You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.Our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind. For we must take some of them to serve the Lord our God, and even we do not know with what we must serve the Lord until we arrive there.”

Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord.

Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them,‘ The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying,“ I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt;

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews:“ Let My people go, that they may serve Me,

This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet you to speak with you.And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory.

And you shall put it before the veil that is before the ark of the Testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you.

And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:‘ Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’”And Pharaoh said,“ Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.”So they said,“ The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us go three days’ journey into the desert and sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,“ Go, sacrifice to your God in the land.”And Moses said,“ It is not right to do so, for we would be sacrificing the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God. If we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, then will they not stone us?We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the Lord our God as He will command us.”So Pharaoh said,“ I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away. Intercede for me.”

And he said to Balak,“ Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet the Lord over there.”Then the Lord met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said,“ Go back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”

And you shall beat some of it very fine, and put some of it before the Testimony in the tabernacle of meeting where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.

Then you shall place them in the tabernacle of meeting before the Testimony, where I meet with you.

Neither did they say,‘ Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt?’

So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him,“ Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews:‘ How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said,“ Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.

So He said,“ I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Then Jacob said to Joseph:“ God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

“ Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.

You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned— In these ways we continue; And we need to be saved.

to heed the words of My servants the prophets whom I sent to you, both rising up early and sending them( but you have not heeded),

Then Balaam said to Balak,“ Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go; perhaps the Lord will come to meet me, and whatever He shows me I will tell you.” So he went to a desolate height.And God met Balaam, and he said to Him,“ I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.

And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to kill him.

Now the Lord had said to Abram:“ Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.
