Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father- in- law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb.

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Moses was taking care of the flock of his father- in- law Jethro. Jethro was the priest of Midian. Moses led the flock to the western side of the desert. He came to Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

One day Moses was tending the flock of his father in law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God.

Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses was pasturing the flock of his father in law Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God,[ even] to Horeb.

Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father- in- law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father- in- law, We are journeying unto the place of which Jehovah said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for Jehovah hath spoken good concerning Israel.

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the brother- in- law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was a herdsman, and a dresser of sycomore- trees:and Jehovah took me from following the flock, and Jehovah said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

They made a calf in Horeb, And worshipped a molten image.

the day that thou stoodest before Jehovah thy God in Horeb, when Jehovah said unto me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

He chose David also his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:From following the ewes that have their young he brought him, To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

And Moses rose up, and Joshua his minister: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father- in- law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, how that Jehovah had brought Israel out of Egypt.And Jethro, Moses’ father- in- law, took Zipporah, Moses’ wife, after he had sent her away,and her two sons; of whom the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been a sojourner in a foreign land:and the name of the other was Eliezer; for he said, The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh.And Jethro, Moses’ father- in- law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the mount of God:and he said unto Moses, I, thy father- in- law Jethro, am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.

And Moses went up unto God, and Jehovah called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:

The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

and be ready against the third day; for the third day Jehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

And Jehovah said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mountain of God, and kissed him.

And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to- day?

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

Jehovah our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mountain:

And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount.And the glory of Jehovah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.And he saith unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

And there were shepherds in the same country abiding in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock.
