耶和華使爾利未族、進於其前、爾猶以為不足、乃更欲為祭司乎。

膏之如父、使為祭司、以奉事我、緣受其膏、亞倫子孫、必永為祭司、歷世勿替。○

蓋上帝立之為祭司長、依麥基洗德之班聯、

惟立亞倫及其子為祭司、以守其職、外人近聖室、必致死亡。○

此職人莫自任、必如亞倫、俟上帝之徵辟、基督亦未嘗以祭司長自尊、惟上帝諭之曰、爾乃吾子、今日生爾、

歷七日、必行任汝為祭司之禮、故是時不得出會幕、迨盈七日則可。

摩西曰、今日爾任職、奉事耶和華、攻爾子女兄弟、如是耶和華錫爾純嘏。○

昔民受律例時、利未子孫任祭司職、若人賴此、罔有缺乏、則毋庸別設一祭司、依麥基洗德班聯、不依亞倫班聯、祭司職既易、律例必易、吾所言之人、乃屬他族、從無供役祭壇者、蓋摩西未嘗以祭司職諭猶大、吾主由猶大出、則祭司職之易、不彰彰明乎、

使其子孫恆為祭司、蓋其熱中、以奉事我、為以色列民贖罪。

耶和華使火出、燬其焚香者、二百五十人。○

以色列族中、簡爾兄亞倫、以為祭司、爰及其子拿答、亞庇戶、以利亞撒、以大馬奉事於我、

蓋爾上帝耶和華、於諸支派中遴選祭司、爰及子孫、使永立於前、憑藉其名、以供役事。

為亞倫子製衣服、冠帶、以彰華美、使亞倫及其子服之、沐以膏、俾其成聖、任為祭司、以奉事我。

為以色列族記誌、他人非亞倫之子孫則不得前、焚香以奉耶和華恐遭厥害、若哥喇及其黨然、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。○

屬利未為祭司者固甚眾、沒則已焉、不能常為其職、耶穌永存、故其祭司職、未嘗易人、凡賴耶穌而至上帝前者、耶穌能救之、蓋彼恆存以保我、我之祭司長應為敬虔、無不善、無纖垢、遠乎罪人、直造乎天之極、他祭司長、必日獻祭贖罪、先為己、後為民、我祭司長不然、乃獻身贖罪、一而已足、律法所立為祭司長者、不能無疵、若律法後之誓、則立上帝子為祭司長、永為完人、
