他又奉上第二隻公綿羊，就是承接聖職之禮的羊；亞倫和他兒子按手在羊的頭上，就宰了羊。摩西把些血抹在亞倫的右耳垂上和右手的大拇指上，並右腳的大拇指上，又帶了亞倫的兒子來，把些血抹在他們的右耳垂上和右手的大拇指上，並右腳的大拇指上，又把血灑在壇的周圍。取脂油和肥尾巴，並臟上一切的脂油與肝上的網子，兩個腰子和腰子上的脂油，並右腿，再從耶和華面前、盛無酵餅的筐子裏取出一個無酵餅，一個油餅，一個薄餅，都放在脂油和右腿上，把這一切放在亞倫的手上和他兒子的手上作搖祭，在耶和華面前搖一搖。摩西從他們的手上拿下來，燒在壇上的燔祭上，都是為承接聖職獻給耶和華馨香的火祭。

耶和華又使你和你一切弟兄－利未的子孫－一同親近他，這豈為小事？你們還要求祭司的職任嗎？

怎樣膏他們的父親，也要照樣膏他們，使他們給我供祭司的職分。他們世世代代凡受膏的，就永遠當祭司的職任。」

並蒙神照着麥基洗德的等次稱他為大祭司。

你要囑咐亞倫和他的兒子謹守自己祭司的職任。近前來的外人必被治死。」

這大祭司的尊榮，沒有人自取。惟要蒙神所召，像亞倫一樣。如此，基督也不是自取榮耀作大祭司，乃是在乎向他說「你是我的兒子，我今日生你」的那一位；

你們七天不可出會幕的門，等到你們承接聖職的日子滿了，因為主叫你們七天承接聖職。

摩西說：「今天你們要自潔，歸耶和華為聖，各人攻擊他的兒子和弟兄，使耶和華賜福與你們。」

從前百姓在利未人祭司職任以下受律法，倘若藉這職任能得完全，又何用另外興起一位祭司，照麥基洗德的等次，不照亞倫的等次呢？祭司的職任既已更改，律法也必須更改。因為這話所指的人本屬別的支派，那支派裏從來沒有一人伺候祭壇。我們的主分明是從猶大出來的；但這支派，摩西並沒有提到祭司。

這約要給他和他的後裔，作為永遠當祭司職任的約；因他為神有忌邪的心，為以色列人贖罪。』」

又有火從耶和華那裏出來，燒滅了那獻香的二百五十個人。

「你要從以色列人中，使你的哥哥亞倫和他的兒子拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪一同就近你，給我供祭司的職分。

因為耶和華－你的神從你各支派中將他揀選出來，使他和他子孫永遠奉耶和華的名侍立，事奉。

「你要為亞倫的兒子做內袍、腰帶、裹頭巾，為榮耀，為華美。要把這些給你的哥哥亞倫和他的兒子穿戴，又要膏他們，將他們分別為聖，好給我供祭司的職分。

給以色列人作紀念，使亞倫後裔之外的人不得近前來在耶和華面前燒香，免得他遭可拉和他一黨所遭的。這乃是照耶和華藉着摩西所吩咐的。

那些成為祭司的，數目本來多，是因為有死阻隔，不能長久。這位既是永遠常存的，他祭司的職任就長久不更換。凡靠着他進到神面前的人，他都能拯救到底；因為他是長遠活着，替他們祈求。像這樣聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，原是與我們合宜的。他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭；因為他只一次將自己獻上，就把這事成全了。律法本是立軟弱的人為大祭司；但在律法以後起誓的話，是立兒子為大祭司，乃是成全到永遠的。
