and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.“ Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

Put caps on their heads. Tie belts on Aaron and his sons. The work of the priests belongs to them. This is my law that will last for all time to come.“ Then you must prepare Aaron and his sons to serve me.

他又把第二只公绵羊牵来，就是承受圣职所献的公绵羊；亚伦和他的儿子按手在公绵羊的头上；摩西宰杀了羊，取了一些羊血，抹在亚伦的右耳垂上和右手的大拇指上，以及右脚的大拇趾上。又把亚伦的儿子带来，摩西也把血抹在他们的右耳垂上和右手的大拇指上，以及右脚的大拇趾上；其余的血则泼在祭坛的四周。然后他取出脂肪、肥尾巴、内脏上所有的脂肪、肾旁的肝叶、两个肾、肾上的脂肪和右后腿；又从在耶和华面前的无酵饼篮子里，取出一个无酵饼、一个油饼和一个薄饼，都放在脂肪和右后腿上；他把这一切都放在亚伦手上和他儿子手上，在耶和华面前摇一摇作为摇祭。然后，摩西从他们的手上接过来，焚烧在祭坛的燔祭上；这些是承受圣职祭，是献给耶和华馨香的火祭。

耶和华又使你和你所有的兄弟，就是利未的子孙，一同亲近他，这在你们看来是小事吗？你们还要寻求祭司职分吗？

要膏抹他们好像膏抹他们的父亲一样，使他们可以作祭司服事我；他们的膏抹使他们世世代代永远当祭司之职。”

而且蒙神照着麦基洗德的体系，称他为大祭司。

你要委派亚伦和他的儿子，使他们谨守自己祭司的职分；外人走近，必被治死。”

没有人可以自己取得这大祭司的尊荣，只有像亚伦一样，蒙神选召的才可以。照样，基督也没有自己争取作大祭司的尊荣，而是曾经对他说：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你”的神荣耀了他；

七天之内，你们不可出会幕的门口，直到你们承受圣职礼的日子满了，因为主要用这七天使你们承受圣职（“使你们承受圣职”原文作“他充满你们的手”）。

摩西说：“今天你们要奉献自己归耶和华为圣，因为各人牺牲了自己的儿子和兄弟，好使耶和华今天赐福给你们。”

这样看来，如果藉着利未人的祭司制度能达到完全的地步（人民是在这制度下领受律法的），为什么还需要照着麦基洗德的体系，另外兴起一位祭司，而不照着亚伦的体系呢？祭司的制度既然更改了，律法也必须更改。因为这些话所指的那位，原是属于另外一个支派的，这支派向来没有人在祭坛前供职。我们的主明明是从犹大支派出来的，关于这个支派，摩西并没有提及祭司的事。

要给他和他的后裔作为永远担当祭司职分的约，因为他为他的神有忌邪的心，为以色列人赎罪。’”

又有火从耶和华那里出来，把那献香的二百五十个人吞灭了。

“你要从以色列人中使你的哥哥亚伦和他的众子，就是亚伦和他的众子：拿答、亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛，都一同来到你面前，作事奉我的祭司。

因为耶和华你的神从你的各支派中把他拣选出来，使他和他的子孙，可以常常奉耶和华的名侍立供祭司的职。

“你也要为亚伦的儿子做内袍，为他们做腰带，又为他们做头巾，使他们有荣耀，有华美。你要把这些给你哥哥亚伦和他的儿子们穿上，又要膏抹他们，按立他们，把他们分别为圣，好使他们可以作我的祭司。

给以色列人作鉴戒，叫不是亚伦子孙的外人，不可近前来，在耶和华面前烧香，免得他像可拉和他的同党有一样的遭遇；这是照着耶和华藉摩西吩咐以利亚撒的。

一方面，从前那些作祭司的，因为受死亡的限制，不能长久留任，所以人数众多。另一方面，因为耶稣是永远长存的，就拥有他永不更改的祭司职位。因此，那些靠着他进到神面前的人，他都能拯救到底；因为他长远活着，为他们代求。这样的一位大祭司，对我们本是合适的。他是圣洁、没有邪恶、没有玷污、从罪人中分别出来、高过众天的。他不必像那些大祭司，天天先为自己的罪献祭，然后为人民的罪献祭；因为他献上了自己，就把这事一次而永远的成全了。律法所立的大祭司，都是软弱的人；可是在律法以后，用誓言所立的儿子，却是成为完全直到永远的。
