Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.“ This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants.

他們要謹守我的命令，免得他們因褻瀆，擔罪而死；我是使他們分別為聖的耶和華。

“如果有人犯罪：他聽見發誓的聲音（“發誓的聲音”或譯：“傳召作證的聲音”，或“發咒語的聲音”）；他本是證人，卻不肯把看見或知道的說出來，他就要擔當自己的罪責。

從今以後，以色列人不可走近會幕，免得他們負罪而死。

你不可揭露姨母，或是姑母的下體，因為這是揭露了骨肉之親的下體；這樣作的人要擔當自己的罪孽。如果有人與叔伯的妻子同睡，就是揭露了叔伯的下體，這樣作的人要擔當自己的罪；他們必無子女而死。

但那潔淨的，又不在路上旅行的人，如果忽略守逾越節，那人就要從自己的民中被剪除，因為他沒有在指定的時間內獻上耶和華的供物，那人必擔當自己的罪。

就對他說：‘朋友，你沒有婚筵的禮服，怎能進到這裡來呢？’他就無話可說。於是王對侍從說：‘把他的手和腳都綁起來，丟到外面的黑暗裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒。’
