and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders as a memorial before the Lord.

Connect them to the shoulder straps of the linen apron. The stones will stand for the sons of Israel. Aaron must carry the names on his shoulders as a constant reminder while he is serving the Lord.

And you shall set the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord on his two shoulders for remembrance.

Fasten the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as a reminder that Aaron represents the people of Israel. Aaron will carry these names on his shoulders as a constant reminder whenever he goes before the Lord.

給以色列人做記念物，叫那不是亞倫後裔的平常人不至於走近前來、在永恆主面前燒香，免得像可拉和他一黨的人那樣子：這是照永恆主由摩西經手所告訴以利亞撒的。

摩西和祭司以利亞撒從千夫長百夫長收了金子，就帶進會棚，好使以色列人在永恆主面前被記起。

他們用工夫使兩塊條紋瑪瑙嵌在金槽裏，用刻印章的方法將以色列兒子的名字刻上。將這兩塊寶石安在聖裲襠的肩帶上、做記石、把以色列人記着，照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

你要把純乳香放在每行上，好跟餅做表樣、做火祭獻與永恆主。

以便向我們列祖實施憐憫，記念他的聖約，

『這一日要給你們做記念日：你們要守為敬拜永恆主的節；要世世代代地守，作為永遠的條例。

哥尼流定睛看他，很覺得懼怕，就說：『是甚麼事呢，主啊？』天使對他說：『你的禱告你的施捨已經上升，在上帝面前蒙記住了。

耶路撒冷啊，我在你的城牆上立了看守人；他們終日終夜不斷地不緘默；提醒永恆主的啊，你們不要靜息哦！

上帝說：『在我與你們之間，以及同你們在一起、各樣有生命的活物之間，我所訂的約的憑證，存到永世代的，就是以下這個：我把我的虹霓放在雲彩中，這就可以做我和大地之間的約的憑證。將來我使雲彩遮蓋大地的時候，就有虹霓要出現在雲彩中；那麼我就要記起我的約，就是在我與你們之間、與各樣有生命的活物、就是凡有血肉的、之間、所立的；水就不再成為洪水，來毁滅凡有血肉的了。將來有虹霓在雲彩中；我要觀看它，來記起一個永世的約，就是在上帝與各樣有生命的活物、與地上凡有血肉的、之間、所立的。上帝對挪亞說：『這就是在我與地上凡有血肉的之間、我所堅立的約的憑證。』

當時你在異象中對你堅貞之民說：『我已經給一個英雄加了冕；我舉起了一位從民間所揀選的。

他扶助了他的僕人以色列，來記念自己的憐憫、

是所羅巴伯要建成永恆主的殿堂；是約書亞要擔當祭司的尊榮，是所羅巴伯要坐在寶座上執政；是約書亞也要在寶座上；他們二人之間必有和諧合作的計畫。』」這冠冕要在永恆主的殿堂裏給黑玳、多比雅、耶大雅、和西番雅的兒子約希亞、做個表樣象徵。

因為有一個孩子給我們生下來，有一個兒子賜給我們；有政權在他肩頭上；他的名稱為「神奇謀士，神威勇士，永恆之父，泰平之君。」

聖裲襠要有兩條肩帶、兩頭連接，讓它相連接。

這要在你手上做記號，在你額上做提醒物，好使永恆主的律法常在你口中，因為永恆主曾用大力的手將你從埃及領出來。

『看哪，上帝是拯救我的；我要倚靠，我不懼怕；因為永恆主是我的力量，我的詩歌，也成了拯救我的。』

因此凡藉着他而進到上帝面前的人、他都能拯救到底；因為他總是活着、替他們請求。這樣的大祭司、虔聖、無邪、無染污、隔離罪人、高過諸天、正合乎我們所需要的。他無需乎像那些大祭司、每日先要替自己的罪、然後替人民的罪獻上祭物；因為他把自己獻上，就將這事儘一次作完了。律法是設立了許多人做大祭司、總是有弱點的人；但律法之後起誓的話卻是設立了一個兒子、是完全勝任到永遠的。
