“ Now take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest, Aaron and Aaron’s sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

“ Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests.

“ Have your brother Aaron brought to you from among the Israelites. His sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar must also be brought. They will serve me as priests.

“ Then bring near to you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the people of Israel, to serve me as priests— Aaron and Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

“ Call for your brother, Aaron, and his sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. Set them apart from the rest of the people of Israel so they may minister to me and be my priests.

“ Have your brother Aaron, with his sons, come to you from the Israelites to serve me as priest— Aaron, his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

“ Then bring forward to yourself your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to serve as priest to Me— Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

And bring thou near unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

“ Have your brother Aaron, with his sons, come to you from the Israelites to serve Me as priest— Aaron, his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office,[ even] Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

“ And you, bring near to you your brother Aaron and his sons with him from among the Israelites, so that they may minister as my priests– Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

“ Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

Therefore you and your sons with you shall attend to your priesthood for everything at the altar and behind the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood to you as a gift for service, but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death.”

Now He said to Moses,“ Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.

Aaron took to himself Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, as wife; and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness.Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for sins.And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was.So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him:“ You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.”

Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests.

( Now the children of Israel journeyed from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah, where Aaron died, and where he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered as priest in his stead.

Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them;and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking the priesthood also?Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord. And what is Aaron that you complain against him?”

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and get from them a rod from each father’s house, all their leaders according to their fathers’ houses— twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.And you shall write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi. For there shall be one rod for the head of each father’s house.Then you shall place them in the tabernacle of meeting before the Testimony, where I meet with you.And it shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose will blossom; thus I will rid Myself of the complaints of the children of Israel, which they make against you.”So Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and each of their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods; and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.And Moses placed the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness.Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord to all the children of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod.

And Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons who were left:“ Take the grain offering that remains of the offerings made by fire to the Lord, and eat it without leaven beside the altar; for it is most holy.

“ And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: Take one young bull and two rams without blemish,

And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the Lord.

So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division,

And his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.

the garments of ministry, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests,

And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister to Me as priests.

For the Levites left their common-lands and their possessions and came to Judah and Jerusalem, for Jeroboam and his sons had rejected them from serving as priests to the Lord.

the garments of ministry, for ministering in the holy place— the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.’”

Johanan begot Azariah( it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);

Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests.Then David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to the schedule of their service.There were more leaders found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus they were divided. Among the sons of Eleazar were sixteen heads of their fathers’ houses, and eight heads of their fathers’ houses among the sons of Ithamar.

“ Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them.

And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him,“ It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You shall have no honor from the Lord God.”Then Uzziah became furious; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the incense altar.And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place. Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the Lord had struck him.King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death. He dwelt in an isolated house, because he was a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord. Then Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

So you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him. You shall anoint them, consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to Me as priests.
