Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain.

You shall make it hollow, with boards. As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made.

The altar must be hollow, made from planks. Build it just as you were shown on the mountain.

Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,[ that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.And thou shalt make a vail[ of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim[ wood] overlaid with gold: their hooks[ shall be of] gold, upon the four sockets of silver.And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy[ place] and the most holy.And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy[ place].And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent,[ of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars[ of] shittim[ wood], and overlay them with gold,[ and] their hooks[ shall be of] gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching[ for] doctrines the commandments of men.

Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,( Touch not; taste not; handle not;Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
