In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.

The lamps must be kept burning in front of the Lord from evening until morning. This is a law for the Israelites that will last for all time to come.

In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel.

按手其首、宰於會幕前、亞倫子孫、必以其血沃於壇之四周、

蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○

以藍紫絳三色之縷、與撚綫細枲布作㡘、上繡良工所製之基路伯、以皂莢木作柱四、包之以金、垂㡘其上、以金製鈎、銀座凡四、㡘垂鈎下、運法匱入、㡘介聖所與至聖所之間、

祭司之脣、宜存智識、人當求法律於其口、以其為萬軍耶和華之使也、

我將使會幕及祭壇成聖、且使亞倫與子為聖、任祭司職、以奉事我、

我所賜爾之法、宜藏於匱、

彼乃燈、燃且明也、爾暫喜其光、

亞倫遵耶和華所命摩西者、置於法匱前以存之、

上帝謂穹蒼為天、有夕有朝、是乃二日、○

當書達以弗所會之使者云、右手執七星、行於七金檠間者、曰、

謂光為晝、謂暗為夜、有夕有朝、是乃一日、○

束以紳、冠以冠、別之為聖、使亞倫與其子任祭司職、以為永例、○牽犢至會幕門、使亞倫及子按手其首、

斯餅悉歸亞倫、及其子孫、當於聖地食之、著為永例、蓋獻耶和華之火祭中、此為至聖也、○

耶和華之諸僕、夜間侍立其室者、其稱頌耶和華兮、

攜利未人至會幕前、集以色列會眾、

其處暗之民、已見大光、處死地陰翳者、有光昇及之、

必永歸於亞倫、及其子孫、此乃以色列人所奉之舉祭、每獻酬恩祭時、以此舉祭獻於耶和華、○

置施恩座於匱上、我所賜爾之法、藏於匱中、我將於彼臨爾、在施恩座、法匱上基路伯間、以我所命諭爾、使告以色列民、○

且有更確之預言、爾宜顧之、如燈燭暗、迨日始旦、明星照爾心矣、

以法匱置其中、垂㡘以蔽之、

爾腰宜束、燈宜燃、

此歷世恆獻之燔祭、行於耶和華前、在會幕門、我將臨而諭汝之所、
