“ Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.

“ You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn.

精金的灯台和摆列的灯盏，与灯台的一切器具，并点灯的油，

橄榄树回答说：‘我岂肯止住供奉神和尊重人的油，飘摇在众树之上呢？’

在我敌人面前，你为我摆设筵席；你用油膏了我的头，使我的福杯满溢。

“要用精金做一个灯台。灯台的座和干与杯、球、花，都要接连一块锤出来。灯台两旁要杈出六个枝子：这旁三个，那旁三个。这旁每枝上有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花；那旁每枝上也有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。从灯台杈出来的六个枝子都是如此。灯台上有四个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。灯台每两个枝子以下有球与枝子接连一块。灯台出的六个枝子都是如此。球和枝子要接连一块，都是一块精金锤出来的。要做灯台的七个灯盏。祭司要点这灯，使灯光对照。

我又问天使说：“这灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”我二次问他说：“这两根橄榄枝在两个流出金色油的金嘴旁边是什么意思？”他对我说：“你不知道这是什么意思吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是两个受膏者站在普天下主的旁边。”

耶和华晓谕摩西说：“要吩咐以色列人，把那为点灯捣成的清橄榄油拿来给你，使灯常常点着。在会幕中法柜的幔子外，亚伦从晚上到早晨必在耶和华面前经理这灯。这要作你们世世代代永远的定例。他要在耶和华面前常收拾精金灯台上的灯。”

他们就是那两棵橄榄树，两个灯台，立在世界之主面前的。
