宣告以色列族、取橄欖擣油、惟潔是務、使燈常燃。

爾當諭以色列人、以油果搗成最清潔可燃燈之油、取以予爾、使燈常燃、

“ Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.

“ Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil made from pressed olives. Use it to keep the lamps burning and giving light.

“ You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn.

“ You are to command the Israelites to bring you pure oil from crushed olives for the light, in order to keep the lamp burning regularly.

“ And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.

“ And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

純金的燈臺與燈盞，就是擺列在燈臺上的燈盞和燈臺上的一切器具，以及點燈用的油；

橄欖樹對它們說：‘我怎可以放棄生產人用來榮耀神和尊崇人的油，飄搖在眾樹之上呢？’

在我敵人面前，你為我擺設筵席；你用油膏了我的頭，使我的杯滿溢。

“你要用純金做一個燈臺，那燈臺你要用鎚錘成；燈臺的座、幹、杯、球、花，都要與燈臺連在一起。燈臺的兩邊伸出六個枝子；一邊有三個燈臺枝子，另一邊也有三個燈臺枝子。在第一個枝子上有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花；在另外一個枝子也有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花。從燈臺伸出的六個枝子，都是這樣。燈臺上有四個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花。每兩個枝子的下面有球和燈臺相連，從燈臺伸出來的六個枝子，都是這樣。球和枝子都要與燈臺連在一起，都是從一塊純金錘成的。你要做燈臺上的七個燈盞，這些燈盞要放在燈臺之上，使燈光照亮對面的地方。

我又再問那天使：“在這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？”我又問他：“在兩根流出金色油的金管子旁邊的兩根橄欖樹枝，究竟是甚麼意思？”他回答我：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”他說：“這是兩位受膏者（“受膏者”或譯：“供應新油的人”），是服事全地之主的。”

耶和華對摩西說：“你要吩咐以色列人，把點燈用的榨成的純淨橄欖油，拿來給你，使燈火長燃。在會幕中法櫃的幔子外，亞倫要使這燈在耶和華面前通宵達旦地長燃；這是你們世世代代永遠的律例。亞倫要不斷地在耶和華面前，整理純金燈臺（“金燈臺”或譯：“潔淨的燈臺”）上的燈。

他們就是站在全地之主面前的兩棵橄欖樹和兩個燈臺。
