就宰了公牛。摩西取了血，用指头抹在祭坛周围的四个翘角上，使坛洁净，再把其余的血倒在坛的底座上，使坛成为圣，为坛赎罪。

他出来后，要到耶和华面前的祭坛那里，为坛赎罪。他要取一些公牛的血和公山羊的血，抹在坛周围的四个翘角上。

祭司要用手指蘸一些赎罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭坛的四个翘角上，再把其余的血倒在燔祭坛的底座上。

要把那些犯罪自丧己命之人的香炉锤成薄片，用以包祭坛；因为这些本是他们在耶和华面前献过，分别为圣的，可以给以色列人作记号。”于是以利亚撒祭司把被烧死的人所献的铜香炉拿来；它们被锤出来，用以包坛，

当日，王因耶和华殿前的铜坛太小，容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪，就将耶和华殿前院子的中间分别为圣，在那里献燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪。
