摩西就宰杀公牛，取了血，用指头抹祭坛四角的周围，洁净祭坛，其余的血倒在祭坛脚那里，使祭坛成圣，为坛赎罪。

他出来，就到耶和华面前的祭坛那里，为坛赎罪。他要取一点公牛的血和山羊的血，抹祭坛的四角。

祭司要用指头取赎罪祭牲的一些血，抹燔祭坛的四角，其余的血要倒在燔祭坛脚那里。

然后用血抹会幕里耶和华面前的坛角；至于其余的牛血，都要倒在会幕门口的燔祭坛脚那里。

那些犯罪而自害己命的人的香炉也是圣的，你们要把它们锤成薄片，用来包盖祭坛；那些香炉本是他们在耶和华面前献过的，所以已经成为圣的，并且可以给以色列作鉴戒。”于是，以利亚撒祭司把被火焚烧的人献过的铜香炉拿起来，叫人锤成薄片，用来包盖祭坛，

那一天，因为耶和华面前的铜祭坛太小，容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪，王就把耶和华殿前院子当中的地方分别为圣，在那里献燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪。
