“ They are to make a sanctuary for me so that I may dwell among them.

“ Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.

“ Have them make a sacred tent for me. I will live among them.

And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.

“ Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them.

Have them construct a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them.

And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said: I will dwell and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God.

I will dwell among the Israelites and not abandon my people Israel.”

I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.

Now the first covenant also had regulations for ministry and an earthly sanctuary.For a tabernacle was set up, and in the first room, which is called the holy place, were the lampstand, the table, and the presentation loaves.

The LORD says this:“ I will return to Zion and live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City; the mountain of the LORD of Armies will be called the Holy Mountain.”

“ Daughter Zion, shout for joy and be glad, for I am coming to dwell among you”— this is the LORD’s declaration.

But Christ was faithful as a Son over his household. And we are that household if we hold on to our confidence and the hope in which we boast.

Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is among you in his greatness.”

Send away both male or female; send them outside the camp, so that they will not defile their camps where I dwell among them.”

Moses summoned Mishael and Elzaphan, sons of Aaron’s uncle Uzziel, and said to them,“ Come here and carry your relatives away from the front of the sanctuary to a place outside the camp.”

The priest is to dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of it seven times before the LORD in front of the curtain of the sanctuary.

The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the skilled people are to work based on everything the LORD has commanded. The LORD has given them wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work of constructing the sanctuary.”So Moses summoned Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person in whose heart the LORD had placed wisdom, all whose hearts moved them, to come to the work and do it.They took from Moses’s presence all the contributions that the Israelites had brought for the task of making the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.Then all the artisans who were doing all the work for the sanctuary came one by one from the work they were doingand said to Moses,“ The people are bringing more than is needed for the construction of the work the LORD commanded to be done.”

He must not leave the sanctuary or he will desecrate the sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am the LORD.
