因為誡命是燈；指教是光；管教之勸責是人生之道路；

有閃電、響聲、雷轟、從寶座間發出；在寶座前點𤏲七枝火把，就是上帝之七靈。

『這香膏為甚麼不賣三百日工錢、去給窮人呢？』

必不再有黑夜；他們也不需要燈光或日光，因為主上帝必做他們的光。他們必掌王權、世世無窮。

不，人應當以上帝所指教的和神言人所警告的為根據；他們若不按這標準說話，就得不到曙光。

那真的光、那照亮萬人的光、當時正到世界上來呢。

傍晚時分、亞倫點燈的時候，他也要燒這香，做你們在永恆主面前代代不斷的香。

那城不需要日頭或月亮照耀她；因為上帝的榮耀做她的光；羔羊就是她的燈。列國必靠着她的光而行；地上的君王必將他們的光榮帶進城。那城的門白晝必總不關，（那裏原沒有黑夜）。

去開他們的眼，使他們從黑暗中轉到光中，從撒但的權下轉向上帝，使他們獲得罪赦，又得業分、在因信我而成聖別的人中間。」

照亮那坐在黑暗中死陰影裏的人，引導我們的腳進平安的路。』

你的話是我腳前的燈，是我路徑上的光。

於是耶穌又對眾人講論說：『我是世界的光，跟從我的一定不在黑暗裏走，卻要得着生命之光。』］
