In the tent of meeting, without the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah: it shall be a statute for ever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

and they burn unto Jehovah every morning and every evening burnt- offerings and sweet incense: the showbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of Jehovah our God; but ye have forsaken him.

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.Without the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.He shall keep in order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before Jehovah continually.

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

And he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

To shine upon them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death; To guide our feet into the way of peace.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
