There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.

The ark is where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. I will meet with you above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark. There I will give you all my commands for the Israelites.

There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.

I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. From there I will give you my commands for the people of Israel.

There I will meet with you; and from above the atoning cover, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about every commandment that I will give you for the sons of Israel.

LORD of Armies, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you are God— you alone— of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

This will be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance to the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet you to speak with you.I will also meet with the Israelites there, and that place will be consecrated by my glory.

When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. He spoke to him that way.

Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD: LORD God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you are God— you alone— of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

Listen, Shepherd of Israel, who leads Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine

So the people sent men to Shiloh to bring back the ark of the covenant of the LORD of Armies, who is enthroned between the cherubim. Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

Then place them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony where I meet with you.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Tell your brother Aaron that he may not come whenever he wants into the holy place behind the curtain in front of the mercy seat on the ark or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

He and all his troops set out to bring the ark of God from Baale-judah. The ark bears the Name, the name of the LORD of Armies who is enthroned between the cherubim.

The LORD reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He is enthroned between the cherubim. Let the earth quake.

Grind some of it into a fine powder and put some in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It must be especially holy to you.

“ You are to place the altar in front of the curtain by the ark of the testimony— in front of the mercy seat that is over the testimony— where I will meet with you.

Then the Israelites inquired of the LORD. In those days, the ark of the covenant of God was there,

“ Make an earthen altar for me, and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your flocks and herds. I will come to you and bless you in every place where I cause my name to be remembered.

I have also selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be with him. I have put wisdom in the heart of every skilled artisan in order to make all that I have commanded you:

Lord, you have been our refuge in every generation.

Then the LORD summoned Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting:

When he finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets inscribed by the finger of God.

For who out of all humanity has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the fire, as we have, and lived?Go near and listen to everything the LORD our God says. Then you can tell us everything the LORD our God tells you; we will listen and obey.’“ The LORD heard your words when you spoke to me. He said to me,‘ I have heard the words that these people have spoken to you. Everything they have said is right.If only they had such a heart to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that they and their children would prosper forever.Go and tell them: Return to your tents.But you stand here with me, and I will tell you every command— the statutes and ordinances— you are to teach them, so that they may follow them in the land I am giving them to possess.’

When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he departed, and Abraham returned to his place.
